Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal information The Divine Trail by Rupeka collects through this website and our services, why we collect it, and your rights.

Who is responsible for your information

The data controller is The Divine Trail, Smriti Nagar, Bhilai, Chhattisgarh 490020, India. You can contact us about privacy at info@thedivinetrail.com or via our contact page.

What we collect and why

  • Contact form: your name, email address, topic and message – to reply to you. Messages are stored securely in our website system and sent to our inbox.
  • Session bookings: bookings are made through Calendly, our scheduling provider. Calendly collects your name, email, chosen time, time zone and any answers you give, and payment is processed by PayPal or Stripe through Calendly. Clients in India pay on this website with Razorpay straight after booking. We use this to hold your session and send your Google Meet link.
  • Candle spell orders: your full name, date of birth, email, phone/WhatsApp number, city, country and intention, and for a relationship spell your partner’s full name and date of birth – to perform your spell and contact you about your order. Payment is made on PayPal’s secure site, or – for clients in India – through Razorpay’s secure checkout; we receive confirmation of payment and a transaction reference, never your card or bank details.
  • WhatsApp and email: if you message us, we receive the information you choose to share.
  • Sessions: sessions take place on Google Meet and are not recorded.

Our legal bases are: performing a contract with you (bookings and orders), our legitimate interests (replying to enquiries and running our business), and legal obligations (keeping financial records). Some information you share – for example about bereavement or your wellbeing – may be sensitive; we use it only with your explicit consent to provide the service you requested.

Cookies

This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. WordPress sets essential cookies only when an administrator logs in. When you choose to open the booking calendar, Calendly may set cookies needed for it to work; PayPal and Razorpay set their own cookies for their secure checkouts.

Who we share information with

We share information only with the service providers needed to deliver our services: our website host, Calendly (scheduling), PayPal/Stripe and Razorpay (payments), Google (Meet video calls), WhatsApp (if you message us) and our email provider. Some of these providers process data outside the UK/EEA under appropriate safeguards. We never sell your information.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and booking/order records for up to 6 years, including for accounting purposes, after which they are deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the UK GDPR or EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your information, to object to its use, to data portability and to withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, please contact us. You may also complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Security

The website uses HTTPS encryption, and access to your information is restricted to Rupeka and authorised administrators.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
